Preface: Pre-hospital emergency care is increasingly in need of attention from society, with the 4 to 6 minutes after an incident being particularly crucial. This window is a key period for effective treatment. Performing emergency measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation on patients during this time can significantly increase survival rates and reduce the risk of complications. Therefore, rapid and effective emergency response is vital for saving lives.
In order to further promote first aid knowledge and skills, and enhance employees' awareness and abilities to self-rescue and mutual aid during emergencies, on May 17th, YeJing Machinery invited Leping Hospital, affiliated with Foshan First People's Hospital, to conduct a unique first aid skills training session for employees.
This training was mainly divided into two modules: emergency rescue theory and on-site practical exercises. In the classroom, Dr. Liu Miaobin from Leping Hospital, affiliated with Foshan First People's Hospital, systematically explained first aid theory to our employees using typical cases as examples. He emphasized the importance of the "golden four minutes" of emergency care and chest compressions, explaining the steps and techniques in detail, and vividly described how to implement self-rescue and mutual aid in similar situations encountered in daily life, deepening everyone's understanding and awareness of the rescue process.
Training site
During the practical experience phase, doctors taught employees the operational essentials hands-on, allowing employees to have a deeper understanding of the entire process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. They completed emergency calls, assessed consciousness, measured pulses, opened airways, performed chest compressions, artificial respiration, and other operations. Everyone learned attentively, actively participated in practical exercises, and benefited greatly from the training.
Through the training, employees gained an understanding of basic first aid knowledge and skills, enabling them to effectively carry out on-site self-rescue and mutual aid during emergencies, thereby enhancing their ability to handle unforeseen events.
